GPs and care providers across Wales will be “pushed to the brink” without an exemption from the Budget’s National Insurance tax hike, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP David Chadwick has warned.
The Council has passed a motion originally submitted by the Liberal Democrat group in support of proportional representation and wider electoral reform.
“I am relieved this proposal has now been cancelled as the scheme was, in my view, too extensive and too expensive, and would have remained in planning for many years to come."
