The Canada Water Masterplan has been approved – delivering just 9% affordable housing across the scheme, a dramatic drop from the 35% originally promised to residents.

The Coop in Littleover introduced 90 minutes maximum parking for their car parks at the end of November 2025. Customers at the Insomnia cafe are allowed to extend their parking period to 3 hours. During March 2026 the business were surveyed.
Tom Gordon, MP for Harrogate and Knaresborough, asked the Minister for Transport whether he thought it was fair for David Skaith to reallocate £4 million in highways budget away from North Yorkshire.
