East Riding Liberal Democrat Councillors

The Liberal Democrats go from strength to strength in the East Riding of Yorkshire

Following on from our excellent results in the 2023 local elections for the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the Liberal Democrats have been quick to exert their influence on the council's policies.

The Liberal Democrats are now the 2nd largest group on the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and we aim to take control of it in 2027.  We believe passionately that politics begins at community level, and this is at the heart of our national politics - to devolve power to local people instead of unanswerable officialdom in London.

The Conservatives are now in free fall in Britain's national politics. Labour offer more of the same policies that the Blair-Brown government offered over 20 years ago and which eventually got Britain into financial trouble. Only the liberal Democrats offer a new and exciting approach.

Think about that on polling day on July 4th and lend us your support!

Bridlington and the Wolds

Cllr Jayne Phoenix

Jayne serves as an East Riding councillor for the Bridlington North Ward, where she has won the trust of her residents due to her hard work and campaigning for better services. A long time community campaigner, Jayne has recently campaigned to try and improve the deteriorating health care services available in Bridlington and for more investment and better transport links. Jayne really needs to take the campaign to London and be in parliament to exert more influence where many of the decisions are taken.
