War veterans will be able to go to the front of the queue for digital hearing aids on the NHS, say ministers. Half a million people are currently waiting for a hearing aid, with some having waited more than two years.
Thieves have been stealing lead from roofs and above bay windows, and reports have come in over the last few days of theft in many parts of Elm Tree. Councillors Julia Roberts and Suzanne Fletcher are letting as many people know as possible, so that people can be extra vigilant and keep an eye open for anything looking suspicious connected with this. They are urging people to make contact with the Police straight away with details if they see anything.
