Rowen shows his support for Palestinian state
Rochdale MP Paul Rowen has signed Early Day Motion 314 supporting the creation of a Palestinian state. It comes after a proposal from Sweden, the current holder of the Presidency of the European Union, initiated a new document on the Middle East peace process.

Cameron's tax plan is a sham - Huhne
Commenting on David Cameron's plans to bar people who do not pay full UK tax from Parliament and the Government, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Huhne said "David Cameron's plan is a sham. The super rich like Lord Ashcroft, Zac Goldsmith or Labour's Lord Paul can be fully resident for tax purposes in the UK, but if they are able to opt for non-dom status they will not pay a penny in UK tax on their main fortune outside Britain."

Chelmsford commuters would rather work near home
Commuters making the daily train trip from Chelmsford to London would rather work nearer home, even if that means taking a pay cut. That was the conclusion of research undertaken by Stephen Robinson and Chelmsford Liberal Democrats.
