No this blog is not about tonight's full Council meeting. Last week I was at St Agnes' RC Primary School in Cricklewood. I have been a Governor there since 1988. This was my twenty second Christmas play. As usual it was the story of the Nativity. But this time we had space ships and sat-navs thrown in. So hence the title of their play "Christmas with the Aliens"

The expected Planning Application for the regeneration of Epsom Station has now been registered by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council under the reference number 09/00824/FUL. This differs from the plans exhibited by the developers Solum Regeneration recently by including a new car park in Horsley Close.
Liberal Democrat representatives on North Yorkshire Fire Authority have slammed Labour and Conservative Councillors for voting in favour of a 2% increase in the Fire Authority element of Council Tax, despite being told a 1.1% increase would be enough.
