The government's attempts to get a third runway at Heathrow make no sense says Mark Chapman, the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary spokesman, in a letter sent to the Surrey Herald.
Two planning applications have been submitted by London Irish Rugby Club which, if approved, will have a major impact on Lower Sunbury. One application is to relocate their pitches and clubhouse to what is now Hazelwood golf course and the other is to build 194 houses on the existing site in the Avenue.
