In August last year Kent County Councillor Tim Prater started a bid under KCC's Members Highway Fund to look into a scheme to create a one-way scheme in Morehall Avenue and Chart Road.

You Decide Day - back by popular demand
Lib Dem Tim Prater ran the first "You decide day" in Folkestone last year. The event gives power direct to local residents who decide on which projects they want to see backed with £15,000 of grants.

Closure of Cheriton High Street: Investigation of Subsidence
Kent Highway Services has been monitoring a section of carriageway in B2064 Cheriton High Street just west of the junction with Risborough Lane. It has become apparent that the carriageway is continuing to subside and voids could be forming under the road surface.

Shepway Free Pay MAP: May Half-Term 2010
Shepway Council have announced the locations the FREE Family Play Activities taking place over the May Half Term. The events are free of charge, funded by the Big Lottery and staffed by three play workers who facilitate games/play for ALL ages.

Kent County Council: Environment, Highways and Waste Directorate: Statement of Community Involvement: Draft for Consultation
Kent County Council (KCC) is preparing a new Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). This is a statutory requirement under the 2004 Planning Act. The SCI will set out how and when communities can most effectively get involved with the town and country planning issues that concern them and for which KCC has responsibility.
