As the weather hots up across Britain this weekend, the Liberal Democrats are warning of the increasing risk of air pollution due to rising levels of ozone in the summer air.
Welsh Liberal Democrats will be using the Eisteddfod week to call for greater government action to tackle Wales' growing waste mountain.
Following a proposal from Borough council Liberal Democrats, proposed increases in bus fares for local pensioners have been put on hold.
Last week Antony Wood, the Lib Dem Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, campaigned in Windsor Town to try and prevent the proposed closure of the St Leonards Road and Dedworth Road Post Offices. At a Council meeting on Tuesday he continued this opposition by seconding a motion from Cllr Jeremy Hyde (Liberal Democrat) calling for these closures to be stopped.
Figures released recently by Transport Minister, Tony McNulty, show that car parking income in the South Hams has increased by a massive 83% since 1997, the highest increase in Devon.
