Local residents and Liberal Democrat members are invited to the Annual Meeting of Shepway Citizens Advice Bureau, to be held at The Boulogne Room, Civic Centre, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone on Tuesday October 9th 2007 at 7pm.
Consulting on possible Post Office closures will commence in May 2008. It is expected that at least 2,500 post offices across the country will close. This means that some in Rochdale may be under threat. At this stage Post Office bosses are refusing to speculate where they plan to close.
Rochdale MP Paul Rowen was shocked to find that an estimated 10,000 Rochdale residents suffer from tinnitus - the medical term for noises inside the ears or head.
