For 12½ years Liz has worked tirelessly for the people of her huge constituency, and has shown how one dedicated woman can make a difference even at European level. Many will remember Liz's campaign on behalf of British beef, and her years of work for tougher laws to reduce the huge toll of needlestick injuries to medical staff. She has won a long battle to prevent MRI scanners in hospitals being banned through daft "safety" rules. Liz's latest campaign has been for a Europe-wide code of conduct to stop the abuse of elderly people in care homes. And Liz was happy to come knocking on doors in Stourbridge, and to greet shoppers in Stourbridge town centre. Many thanks, Liz.
