Michelle Pearce was elected to Calne Town Council in the by-election on 21 January with a stunning 81% of the votes cast, beating her UKIP opponent by 331 votes to 79. The Conservatives failed to put up a candidate for the seat they won in 2007. Michelle's is the third victory in two years in Calne Lickhill. She joins Glenis Ansell and Chris Dobbie representing the ward for the Liberal Democrats.
