The Liberal Democrats in Shepway are fielding candidates in all County, District, Town and Parish Council elections taking place on June 4th.
The candidates for the June 4th elections to Kent County Council and by-elections to Shepway District Council, Hythe Town Council and Sandgate Parish Council have been released. Following their collapse in vote to under 2% across Shepway in the 2007 District Council elections, Labour have failed to stand a candidate in the Hythe West District Council by-election. Only the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives are standing in all elections across Shepway.
Attacking the Governments announcement that from this autumn people in Manchester will be able to apply for an ID Card, Chris Huhne described the scheme as "crazy".
