Hospitals not keeping patients safe

Commenting on a report from a medical charity which reveals that three-quarters of NHS Trusts are endangering patients by not complying with safety alerts meant to stop fatal errors recurring, Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate Robin Lawrence said "These figures reveal a shocking number of hospitals that are not making basic changes to keep patients safe."

Deep Freeze

Yesterday I had a night out. Well to be exact I went as spectator to watch the Barnet Cabinet debate their proposed Budget for 2010/11. Palace of Varieties it was not. I think there were two members of the public in the gallery. Council officers outnumbered the Councillors. Curiously none of the Cabinet members had their nameplates in front of them.

Government should not pander to homophobia
