Action for Spinney Hills
Spinney Hills Lib Dem councillors Mussa Saleh, Hashim Panchbaya and Mustafa Karim have been taking action to deal with concerns expressed by local residents about traffic and highways issues in the area. This includes a review of the one-way system and traffic calming schemes which deteriorated under the previous Labour council and are damaging cars.

Lib Dems increase votes and MEP's in elections
Within the Mid Sussex District area the Lib Dem share of the vote, as elsewhere, increased since the 1999 Euro election. Both sitting MEP's, Chris Huhne and Emma Nicholson were comfortably re-elected.
