Diana Wallis Campaigning in Scarborough

Diana Wallis, Lib Dem Euro MP for Yorkshire and the Humber was campaigning in Scarborough town centre on Saturday for a penny tax on carrier bags. She was joined by Scarborough and Whitby PPC Tania Exley-Moore and other lib dem activists. More than 200 people signed a petition supporting this policy.

Chris Took has been reselected as Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Ashford Constituency. Chris fought the general election for the Liberal Democrats in 2005 and increased their vote by more than 1,000.

Tory centre under investigation

The Midlands section of Sunday's Politics Show on BBC1 decided not to use their interviews with Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats but devoted their time to lifting the lid on Coleshill Manor. This 19th Century country house is now the centre for the Conservative Party's campaign activities and leaflets found in Park Ward have had an imprint showing they had a connection with Coleshill Manor.
