Fast Track Britain: Building a Transport System for the 21st Century
This morning the Liberal Democrats debated the motion Fast Track Britain: Building a Transport System for the 21st Century. Park Ward Councillor Robin Lawrence said "The Liberal Democrats are committed to providing a transport system for the UK which meets the twin challenges of reducing the use of carbon and increasing capacity. Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats are committed to campaign to safeguarding and improve public transport locally; an example of this is the Liberal Democrats commitment to retaining the Wolverhampton-Walsall rail link."
