The introduction of pay and display car parking charges in Weald and Thorndon Country parks back in December 2003 caused a lot of local anger and frustration amongst park users, particularly those living in Brentwood.
A clean up of the Ewell Bypass between the Nescot roundabout and Bradford Drive will begin on Monday 30th November.
About 100 people came along to a Public Meeting on 17th November which had been organised by Epsom's Lib Dems. Local residents were given an opportunity to exchange views on Tesco's proposals for Upper High Street.
In his contribution to the debate on the Queen's Speech, Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg said:
